Hi, if you collect plastic Toy Soldiers then you must have some Conte Collectible figures in your collection. I have been a fan of Conte Collectibles since they first came out in 1999. They have made great figures in painted metal and unpainted plastic. Year after year they produced new sets of figures and some epic playsets. But the past few years, do to troubles they have been quiet. But hopefully this year they will return in full Glory again. Lets hope and see what happens. Here are some pictures of projects that we might see soon.
Here are some of the new Barbarians and Robin Hood.
Here are some Normans.
Here are some VIKINGS!!!
A beautiful line of toy soldiers. Maybe the best playsets ever made. I love the War lord series that they made several years ago. A great inspiration to collectors. Thanks for the post.
I wish I had picked up the village set they had did years ago. I am going to try to make some custom figures with the Conte figures in the summer.
A great project. Also you can try the russian plastic sets of Pvblivs. Both vikings and normands. An inspiration. We are not collectors of plastic toy soldiers but we love them.

Nice link there, Paul Stads lives near me. I used to get figures from him in the past, before the internet exploded with different dealers. Have you seen Barzso Playsets? They make good figures and playsets too. Come back later to night, I made a custom Playmobil viking with a full fur cape. It looks really cool. Thanks, Mike.

Thank you Mike. I know also about Barszo. A beautiful place. I think in the late nineties there are a few of American collectors that made their childhood dreams come true. Maybe some day this thing could happend with Playmobil historic series. Meanwhile we can still dreaming about it and customizing. I know that you know too much about toy soldiers, conversions and putty. We will came back to see your next custom viking. It is a pleasure to visit you.
I am new to the conversions with the putty, I started last year. I keep learning and I hope to make new things. It is all trial and error. Some things work, and other ideas don’t. Thank You, hope to see you again.
