Happy New Year 2020!!!
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy & Healthy New Year. I have a few new previews and some other hobby related things to share.
Here are some pictures of the Urfin Jus Modern Russian Infantry set. It should be released this month. 1st Chechen War of 1994-1995. There are 6 different poses and is 1/32 in scale.
Here is a prototype of a future Publius figure. Maybe Misses Claus??
The Viking Shield Breaker Berserker figure by Prikaz is ready now too. I will have some new pictures up in the coming months.
The first season of the Disney Star Wars TV show The Mandalorian is over now. The last episode was great. The one thing missing are the toys!! Don’t fear. The toys will be all over the place beginning some time this spring. Here are 4 new figures from the next wave of The Vintage Collection. These 3 & 3/4 inch scale Star Wars action figures feature classic characters and retro packaging! Longtime fans of Star Wars will love this Kenner-style packaging, right down to the old fashioned Kenner logo. ROS Action Figures Wave 3 Set is made up of a Remnant Stormtrooper, Cara Dune, The Mandalorian and a Clone Trooper.
I started collecting Star Wars figures again. The new figures look really great. Right now I will just focus on the Mandalorian TV series. I think by the end of 2020 we will see a bunch of Star Wars toys to make some great mini displays.
That is it for now. Thank you for reading.
The Urfin Jus figures have me revved up. Along with Igor’s Russian Civil War cavalry, and the upcoming Korean War Marines, 2020 looks promising.
Yes. Just when I think about slowing down with the collecting. They pull me back in, lol.
Hello,
Do you know anything about Austin Miniatures Japanese infantry ? They are STILL not available.
And thank you for what you do. It’s very informative and very helpful.
Best Regards, Rob Allen

Thank You for the kind words. As far as I know we will won’t be seeing any further production of the Japanese Infantry. All they made was a limited amount of them in resin. I was led to believe that these figures were going to be produced via plastic injection. I didn’t even get a set. Just the prototypes. It is a shame. There were a lot of collectors looking forward to this set being released. I was one. I would have gotten about 6 to 10 sets most likely. I think they are only going to release figures in 28mm now.
Hat is another story. It has been about 3 years since I invested in a fund raiser with them to produce a set of figures in 1/32 scale. They released the set first in 1/72 and a bunch of other sets. We are still waiting for the set. Hopefully it will be released this year. It is not a good way to practice business.
I saw on Stad’s Stuff website that X-Force is going to release their Japanese Infantry soon. These are supposed to be about 54mm in size. I hope so. I think this will be the only Japanese Infantry will see for a long time. I would like to produce a set of Japanese one day if I could. What type of poses would you do if you could make a set?
Thanks for stopping by, Mike.

Can’t wait for the Modern Russians but could we PLEASE just do a plain flat base!!
Are the “Modern Russians” Soviet Russians from the Russian Afghanistan War?
Hi Tom. Thanks for asking. I just realized that I had forgotten to add that the set depicts the Russian forces from the 1st Chechen War of 1994-1995.
So can we expect “Chechen” figures??
I was wondering the same thing, lol. Probably by the end of the year. I hope.
on what site are these toy soldiers sold on?
Sorry, I just saw this. As of right now I only see them on eBay.
