I hope everyone is doing well in these troubled times. If you have not heard yet the Midwest Toy Soldier Show is postponed. You can read more on their website, http://www.mwtoysoldier.com/.
In my last post I reviewed a few sets from Warhansa. Today I will review the last set I received. I think it is the best one that they sent me. Maybe their best set to date. It depicts English Knights from the 100 Years War. Five figures in all. The scale is 1/32. They are made out of a rubbery resin. They look like Men at Arms for the most part. Maybe one knight. The Archer is my favorite of the set. The detail is really nice. You can see more from Warhansa over here, https://warhansa.com/.
Warhansa figures sets are really improving. The main issue I had with some of their past sets was the over sized weapons. This set does not have that issue. Here are some comparisons with figures from Conte and Dulcop.
That concludes the review. I might have another post up tomorrow. If not then sometime next week. Take Care & be safe. Thank you for reading.
Awesome work, as always. Beautiful pieces.
Nowadays are trouble days. I hope you are OK. The only thing we have to do is stay at home and keep calm. The virus will pass, crisis will arrive. Hard times make people strong. Take care. Regards
Yes, Jose. Thanks for the kind words. I believe everything will be fine in the coming weeks. Take Care for now.
I feel like ventures sometimes require getting enough exposure, and experience under their belts, to facilitate the improvement of their follow-on releases. Which might explain the improvement in weapons scale, in this latest set. The earlier products have enough character, that I (and others) were attracted to them.
As for the archer being your favorite, it was mine, too, the minute I looked at the set of five. The other four are obviously formidable, but English archers were prime killers on those muddy, blood-soaked fields. He looks like a fairly mature fellow, likely a keen shot, and an anchor among the others.
Any of you saxons available? Thanks so much°°
They will be available next year. I just did an update in Christmas post.
