Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year.

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. It has been a difficult year for everyone. Let’s hope that next year is better. Here are some of my Custom made Playmobil figures that I had made over the years.

Here are a few things that I got this year for Christmas pictured below.

I found these two Britain Detail mounted figures for $4.50. I remember when I was a kid looking at the Britain boxed sets at Sterns department store. Me and my brother would be amazed by these figures. But they were too expensive at the time.

My girlfriend found some of these LOTR figure sets at an antique mall.

Fellowship of the Ring

Here is a glass Ball jar that had some vintage toy soldiers inside. Most of them were rusty brown Andy Gard ringhand figures. Plus a few MPC ringhand Pirates.

Here is another custom made Playmobil figure that I made yesterday. He is a Viking raider. Like Santa he has a sack. But this guy is going to fill his sack up….

Now some hobby news from around the world. We start with some news from Prikaz. Here is a message from Alexy.

New shooters from “The Order.” I decided to stop producing Streltsy 1 and 2 sets. Now instead of them will be a set “Moscow Shooters 2″, in red , blue and green.”

You can see more of Prikaz toy soldiers on the catalog page over here, Prikaz Toy Soldiers.

The set “White Eagle” will now be produced in this format: selected, Cossack, hajduk, panzer, hussar.

Here is a nice display by Ken from https://lodtoysoldiers.com/.

Here are some of the latest Plastic Platoon sets. You can see more at their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/soldiers.plastic.platoon.

“Wild Division” was one of the most successful in the history of the First World War. They were able to beat the superior forces of the enemy with amazing regularity. They actively participated in the famous Brusilov breakthrough. And in one of the battles in 1916, the “Wild Division” set a record – four times more prisoners were captured than it was in the personal composition of the division itself. From the Russo-Turkish and Caucasian wars, the Russo-Japanese, the First World War and the Civil War in Russia… The colors of the figures will be like that of Dontsov – gray, dark brown, blue, light brown (toffee) and ruby. Horses grey and brown. In the USA you get get these at, https://micshaunscloset.com/collections/engineer-basevich. Plus Plastic Platoon figures.

Here is an little update about my Anglo Saxons. They will be available next year some time late spring/early summer. I am getting the figures in and sorting them out into full sets. I should have the last batch of figures sometime next year. The virus has caused a lot of problems. Besides my figures I will have a few Russian brands of soldiers for sale at the shows. I am hoping next year is a lot better than this year!!!

This is for now. Thank you for reading 🙂
