I hope everyone is doing well. Now that I have more time I am going to try to post more blog posts this year. In this post, I will share with you what I found last week while I was out for my Birthday and then we will discuss some updates and hobby news.

We spent the day in the town of DeBois, looking around and stopping at a couple of Antique stores. It is not too far from us, and since we never really have been there, we wanted to see what it was like. In one of the antique stores, I found a bag of Vintage TimMee Army Men from the original molds. The Marching pose and the Soldier with the grenade were in this lot of 54 Soldiers that I got for $10. The original mold was damaged at some point, and the marching pose was lost & the grenade guy became the waving guy with his hand open instead of holding a grenade. Some were broken, but almost all of them are in very good condition.

There were 5 Marching poses in the bag. I will say about 1 out of 10 times I see a bag of TimMee Army Men they are the newer version. And luckily the rifles were not broken too. About half of the time, I find a marching pose the rifle is broken. This pose is one that I can reuse in multiple setups. If you want to read more about the History of the TimMee soldiers click on this link, TimMee Army Blog: U.S. Soldiers • Series IV. You can also buy new TimMee Toys over here with this link, https://timmeeusa.com/.

I also found these big Native American Indians by Ajax. Kent Sprecher informed me about the maker. I usually do not collect the big toy soldiers. I guess they are around 6 inches. But I like the blue plastic these were made and the sculpting style. They were almost $14 for the 3 figures.

I keep testing new resin mixtures. And I will start using the burnt orange color for the Saxons & Native Americans. I will be adding a few more sets tomorrow. But here are some of what is available now, click on the links posted below.

So far, we are set to go to the Midwest & Gettysburg Toy Soldier Shows. I am waiting for Matt Murphey to get back to me about the Chicago Toy Soldier Show. We are planning to attend the MFCA Show in Trevose, PA too. We will have more information about the shows in coming posts.

I just saw today that Airfix is re-issuing some of the old WWII sets in 1/32 scale again. It looks like they will have the WWII British Commandos, WWII British Infantry Support and WWII German Mountain Troops this year. Sometime in the summer. I wonder if the plastic will be different.

And in 1/76 scale they are re-issuing the Romans, Ancient Britons, Robin Hood and Sheriff of Nottingham sets. Plus, the Roman Fort and Sherwood Castle sets.
Thank you for reading. I should have an update in about 2 weeks. Keep Checking the store page for new products. Take Care for now.
