I hope every one is doing well. Most of you are getting cabin fever about now. I bet every one is tired of watching the news too. I put together a short post about some Runecraft & Publius Vikings.

The figures of Publius and Runecraft are very detailed. They are mini sculptures. You can find these being sold on eBay by a couple of different sellers. They can be found cast in a hard resin, a soft rubbery type resin and in metal. They are 1/32 scale or about 57mm. You can see more figures at https://www.publius.ru/.

Show Update: The Midwest Toy Soldier Show has been rescheduled for June 07, 2020. You can contact the hotel for your room reservations. If things change, you’ll be able to get the info here and on our Facebook page.

With every thing going on my plans for my set of Anglo Saxons has been pushed back. I probably will have everything ready in the Fall. I will have a post about the Saxons in a couple of months. I will have a few posts over the next week about different things. Thanks again for reading.

Well I hope everyone is enjoying themselves in the festive time of the year. January 7th is the Eastern Orthodox Christmas and I just got a glimpse of some things to come from Russia. A friend of mine sent me a few pictures to share with everyone.

Here are some new Vikings from Runecraft. They are part of Publius company. Most of these figures look like they are waving the warriors to come forward or encouraging them during a battle. One has a war trophy. Remember to also look well kept. You never know when someone might take your head….

The past few years Publius has released a set of figures early in the year. This year they have a new set of Scandinavians. As usual they are really nicely detailed. I like the poses this year. One figure looks like Santa Claus. The female warrior could be one of his elves.. I hope to have some of these figures when they become available. These figures should be on eBay in the near future.

Here is a Mercenary figure by Prikaz Toy Soldiers. Alex is using a new sculptor and here is one of the first new figures he has done. I can’t wait to see what else is designed this year by Prikaz. I was looking around on eBay and I stumbled across this new set from Publius. eBay NEW!!! “PUBLIUS” VIKING WARRIORS, 8 rubber plastic soldiers 1:32 60mm.

This is a limited edition set. It was labeled Viking Warriors. It is a set of 8 Vikings. The size is 60mm, about the size of Conte Vikings. The figures are very detailed. I had to order a set. The cost was about $100. It seems like most of the sets are almost sold. I will have a review once I receive them. There was another seller selling the same set for about $120.
