When I was growing up I used to read the X-Men, watch Star Wars movies and play Warhammer Fantasy Battle game. Over the years I have gotten away from all of these for various reasons.

As a kid growing up Star Wars was huge. Between the movies and toys it kept me entertained for years. I remember the long years in between each movie. My favorite movie was the “Empire Strikes Back” of the first three original movies. Then “The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith” movies came out years later. They were not that bad. But they were not the same. The last few movies I watched years after they came out. I did like the “Rogue One” film. But the others didn’t gain my interest at all. They were meh. That has changed with the new TV series “The Mandalorian”.

The magic is back. It reminds me of the original movies. The story draws you in is as it goes on. They brought back the space western feel. I like the “Man with no name” approach. The action scenes are great too. You also learn different things about what had happened between the other movies. Things about the Empire and Republic. The Child or Baby Yoda brings a kid friendly feel without adding those goofy characters which get old real quick. And then they have the new toys…..

Here are some of the latest action figures that came out the past few months and some previews. They are from the new TV series, the upcoming movie and collector’s editions from the video games. I started collecting some of these figures again.

Last month Games Workshop made a big announcement. It is the return of “Warhammer Fantasy Battle”. In 2015 Games Workshop shocked the gaming community by ending the setting in which the game took place. What form of return to the old world has yet to be determined. It is years away from be released.
I can not wait to see Armies of High Elves, Orcs, The Empire, Forces of Chaos, Dwarfs and the others return to the Battle Field once again. You can read more about the announcement over here, https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/11/15/old-world-new-warhammer/.

I had gotten away from collecting comics for a long time now. But recently the X-Men started a new story line through 6 different comic book titles. So far it is really interesting. You can read more about this over here, https://www.marvel.com/articles/comics/sdcc-2019-beginning-this-october-the-dawn-of-x.
During the past few months I have been picking up some vintage plastic figures here and there.

Here is a Atlantic mounted Apache in 1/32 scale.

Here is an Atlantic Native Indian Woman from a camp setting. Plus a animal skin being stretched out. Also in 1/32 scale. Both Atlantic figures are more likely 60mm.

Here are some Crescent British Paratroopers that I got a few months ago. They are about the same size as Conte figures.

I found this Donkey in a mixed bag of plastic figures. I don’t know what brand it is. I think it is cool looking.

When I was in Georgia found these two Auburn trucks in different shops. I still like them even though they are not the same scale as the figures they originally came with.

Thank you for reading. That is it for now. This is the Way 😉
