I hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July weekend. I was off this week and started catching up on some things. I still have a lot of old sets to update and new sets in different stages of development.

Last week I added the new Ojibwe tribe set to the store page, Ojibwe Indians Set – 54mm Resin. The set depicts 18th century Ojibwe warriors. Also, part of the set was a Charles Michel de Langlade character figure. He was half French & half native American. He walked between two cultures. He served in the French military as a French Marine officer and also was a Ottawa War Chief.

I started working on a new red resin mixture. I recently have been testing out new resins. One for the flexibility & strength, and others for the color. I like this scarlet red look. You actually can see the details nicely. Red is a hard color to work with. I added the Virginian Regiment in red to depict the Royal American or the British 60th Regiment, British Royal Americans 60th Regiment Set – 54mm Resin.

The Crow tribe set is in development. Just a few tweaks and it will be finished. This is the second set of warriors in the Plains Indian series. I will have most of the Plains Indian sets listed on the store page later this month.

This set is called the “Battle Sets”. It will be added later this month too.

Here is another project in development. These are Bark Teepees. A favorite of the Ojibwe. I am in the process of making some new villagers to go with this.

Lastly in development is the Cheyenne tribe set. This set depicts the Cheyenne Dog Soldiers. They are led by the famous Cheyenne War leader Roman Nose. This set will be available by the end of the month too. All the Plains Indian sets are around 57mm.

We will have all of these new sets at the next Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show which is on August 25th. Plus, much more. I have other things in development. But that is another discussion at a future time.

Is there a Gettysburg toy soldier show in 2025? I haven’t seen any notices.
Hi, the next Gettysburg Show is on May 4th for 2025.
