#4 Custom Playmobil Anglo-Saxon Leader

Well here is another figure that I made for my developing Anglo-Saxon Theme, An Anglo-Saxon Leader. I purchased a Custom made Helmet on Scultpeo, I will add a link on the bottom of this.

The Vikings are Back………….and going away?

Since 1995 when Playmobil came out with there first Viking figure as a special 4519 I always wanted more Vikings!!! Then in 2002 the Viking Theme came out, and since then a few sets manly figures have come to this theme. Well as most of you know the Viking theme has been discontinued for years now. Last year they re-released some of the original sets or part of the original sets as Add-ons, So if you missed out on this theme, now is your chance to get some Longboats to raid the Medieval world 🙂 If you want to read more about the Playmobil Viking Theme and see more pictures of these sets, check out my link below.

Playmobil Talk #1

Well it has been a while since my last post, sorry for the delay. The good news is that I have been busy coming up with ideas to craft new items for my custom Playmobil toys. 🙂 I will have some more updates over the next few days. Another piece of news is that I am going to add Greek language to my translations. I use Google translate, so if it is a little ugly, sorry in advance.

La buena noticia es que he estado ocupado la creación de ideas para elaborar nuevos temas para mis personalizados juguetes Playmobil. 🙂 Voy a tener algunos más actualizaciones en los próximos días. Otra noticia es que voy a añadir lengua griega a mis traducciones. Yo uso Google Translate, lo que si es un poco feo, lo siento por adelantado.

Καλά έχει περάσει καιρός από την τελευταία μου ανάρτηση, συγνώμη για την καθυστέρηση. Τα καλά νέα είναι ότι έχω απασχολημένος έρχονται με ιδέες για να δημιουργήσει νέα στοιχεία για έθιμο μου παιχνίδια της Playmobil. 🙂 Θα έχω κάποιες άλλες ενημερώσεις κατά τη διάρκεια των προσεχών ημερών. Playmobil Custom Viking Village

Here is my custom Playmobil Village with a Tower & Barracks, 4 Warriors Tents, 3 small Timber houses, 1 large Timber house, 1 Dark Age Hut, 1 Blacksmith’s Workshop, 1 Stable & Corral, and 1 Storehouse. Plus a small farm with a Well.

In the rear center of the Village is large Timber house, a small Timber house, and a small farm with a well.

Towards the right rear of the Village is a small Timber house, a Dark Age Hut.

Here is a set up of most of my houses that I use for my Playmobil Viking Village. About a quarter of the Vikings I have are here, most are warriors. I included 3 small Timber houses, 1 large Timber house as the main house, 1 Dark Age Hut, a Blacksmith’s Workshop, a Storehouse, a Stable & Corral, a small farm with holding pen and well, 4 Warrior’s Tents and lastly a Watchtower and it also includes a Troop Barrack. Voici une mise en place de la plupart de mes maisons que je utilise pour mon Playmobil Viking Village. Environ un quart des Vikings je ai êtes ici, la plupart sont des guerriers. Je ai inclus trois petites maisons en bois, une grande maison de bois que la maison principale, une Dark Age Hut, atelier d’un forgeron, un entrepôt, une écurie et Corral, une petite ferme avec un stylo tenant et bien, 4 tentes de guerrier et enfin une tour de guet et il comprend également une troupe Barrack. Aquí es un conjunto de más de mis casas que utilizo para mi Playmobil Viking Village. Aproximadamente un cuarto de los vikingos que tengo aquí, la mayoría son guerreros. Incluí 3 pequeñas casas de madera, 1 gran casa de madera como la casa principal, 1 Dark Age Hut, el taller de un herrero, un almacén, un establo y corral, una pequeña granja con que sostiene la pluma y bueno, 4 tiendas de campaña de Guerrero y, por último, una torre de vigilancia y también incluye una tropa del cuartel. Playmobil Custom Dark Age Hut

For this Dark Age hut I took the base of one of the igloos, cut up some paper then taped it into a circle to fill a void between the igloo base and pirate roof. I then cut up some ice cream sticks and glued it to the paper and finally painted the ice cream sticks. Not bad for the first time, the next hut I am planning on making it look a little different.

Playmobil Custom Dark Age Hut

Playmobil made some nice sets for the Viking theme, like the longboat. They made the Fortress or Longhouse 3151, it is a good place for the Vikings warriors and their Jarl. Great to guard a port and help defend a village. But if you want a house for a village for the Viking theme or Medieval theme there is none. They make some nice cottages for a Medieval town or castle, but not for a simple village. So what to do if you want a setting for your Vikings when they want to settle down or they want some place to raid besides a castle? Either you pray that Playmobil will made something in the future or you have to create one. Well that is what I have set off to do, build a custom Playmobil Viking or Medieval Village.
